modern carriage house
We have designed and built a modern carriage house concept to fit the local ADU ordinances in the city of Wilmington - see original renderings above. This concept is 576 sq ft and features one bedroom, walk-in closet with laundry, zero entry shower, with open concept kitchen and living room on the upper level. The lower level includes an open carport with an attached single car garage. The 12’ x 8’ quad sliding glass door floods the living space with natural light and provides the indoor / outdoor living experience that everyone enjoys.
The total footprint is small at just 28’ x 30’ and provides off street parking, which will open up development opportunities for small infill lots as well as use as an accessory dwelling.
